About the Role
Designation: Engineer / Senior Engineer
Function: Engineering – Instrumentation & Software Design
Reporting to: Divisional Manager
Experience: 4–6 years
Education: Graduate / Diploma in Instrumentation / Electrical
Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver error‑free instrumentation/software design documentation on time.
Design instrumentation/software for chemical, fertilizer, pharma, or oil & gas plants.
Prepare instrument datasheets and review vendor data for selection.
Work with analysers, valves, dampers, and ensure proper selection.
Apply knowledge of SIL, HAZOP studies, and plant interlocks/protections.
Develop PLC logic/programming (Siemens Simatic Manager, WinCC).
Handle complete instrumentation/software design of incineration plants independently.
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
Propose cost‑effective design solutions and enforce efficient workflows.
Requirements
Must‑Have Skills
Instrumentation design for chemical, fertilizer, pharma, or oil & gas plants
Instrument datasheet preparation & vendor data review
Selection of analysers, valves, dampers based on process parameters
Knowledge of SIL, HAZOP studies
Hands‑on PLC programming (Siemens Simatic Manager, WinCC)
Familiarity with P&ID review, interlocks, protections
Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams and vendors
