About the Role

📝 Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled, technically proficient individual with strong experience in network architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting across devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless solutions, and storage systems. This role involves delivering L3 technical support, replicating customer issues, testing products, and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Handle escalated Tier 3 support cases for various networking devices including routers, firewalls, switches, storage devices, and wireless solutions
• Reproduce and validate customer-reported issues for engineering and product teams
• Support new product releases through testing and feedback
• Review and refine internal documentation and knowledge base articles
• Analyze support interactions to detect field-level product issues and suggest preventive strategies
• Deliver training sessions for internal support teams and Netgear partners
• Open to occasional travel (up to 10%) for on-site field support

🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a networking support environment or deep familiarity with Netgear products
• Certifications: CCNA certification or equivalent networking experience
Technical Proficiency:
• Strong grasp of network architectures and topologies
• In-depth knowledge of VPN, firewalls, wireless standards, and storage networking
• Experience with both Windows and Linux networking tools
• Familiarity with routing protocols and real-world configuration troubleshooting
Soft Skills:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Well-organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills

Requirements

📋 Additional Details

  • Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO)

  • Shift: Night Shift (Monday to Friday)

  • Shift Timings: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM

  • Training Period: 15 days to 1 month (On-site)

Cab Facility:

  • Cabs available (paid service)

  • Mandatory cab usage for female employees

  • Approximate cost: ₹500 to ₹1500 for both ways (location dependent)
